In the interest of clearing up things for all our retailers and customers we have to state a few truths:
We will be using the about us section to post occasional news about the company.
1. If you are not buying an Illadelph from a retailer listed on our retailer locator you are buying a fake or a knock-off. The best case scenario is you might possibly be buying a legitimate illadelph that was obtained through illegitimate redistribution. Redistribution from any retailer will result in immediate termination of that account. We will be posting a list of shops that are known to cheat customers by lying to them and selling them illegitimate illadelph products. Once again, if a store is not on our retailers page… do not purchase an illadelph there. And to those who think replicating a trademark in order to deceive innocent customers is acceptable: our patience has expired. We are working actively with customers and other stores to obtain photographs of your blatant deceit and we will make your style of business public or far worse.
2. The Illadelph Glass Gallery situation: We have seen the comments and questions… most of you have gotten a response from us. Once we became aware of the general mismanagement and unacceptable customer service at the Gallery we immediately took action to put new management in place. On Jan 21st 2011 the Gallery reopened with a large selection of inventory. We will be adding their links to our link area once their new websites are up and running.
It’s been a long time since we’ve spoken directly to our customers and the public and we hope these comments direct from us will be taken to heart. We love and appreciate our customers and their support for what we do here, which is pushing glass art and innovation as best we can while keeping our vendors as local as possible. Our Glass-on-Glass joints, boxes and foam inserts are all manufactured in PA and NJ… our glass vendors are also locally based and any material importation company we use is American owned. We continue to support wonderful vendors from all over America and we hope our retailers have the same goal in mind: Quality American-Made glass that supports real living wages for all involved.
Thank you for the time and we look forward to your comments.
