Quave Coil Collab I

Quave is from WA. He ‘s 22 years old and works out of a private studio with a bunch of other very very talented glassblowers. There’s not much more to say… Quave’s talent speaks for itself. We can’t wait to put together more coils with him. This set is complete with a matching Sherlock and Jar, with a faceted lid. The Inline Double Ash Catcher Base completes this coil but the focus here is and should be on Quave’s work.

The Salt Tree Coil

Can’t say enough about this item… It’s Salt but he’s did something totally off the beaten path for this coil. It’s special in more ways than one. He didn’t make a demonic sculpture and we feel very honored that he decided to share this with us. This coil has a Tree Coil, Slide, Ash Catcher and Marble that features Salt’s “bark coloring” which, once sandblasted, looks remarkable under the glycerin.

LaceFace Coil Collabs

Both LaceFace Coils will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery during the July 2010 Exhibition. Lacey herself will be at our event this Friday. Please come out, say “hello” and support her and all the other amazing people that got together for our Summer Exhibition.

LaceFace Coil 2010 #1

Our first coil collab with LaceFace. In fact, the first female artist we have gotten to work with. We think Lacey's signature hair work and body sculpting are perfect coil centerpieces. The flower slides allow for the lucky eventual owner of this set to get both a LaceFace flower slide and bust in the coil. The unique goblet shape of the ash catchers adds a touch of elegance to an already wonderful job by Lacey. Both LaceFace Coils will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery during the July 2010 Exhibition. Lacey herself will be at our event this Friday. Please come out, say "hello" and support her and all the other amazing people that got together for our Summer Exhibition.

LaceFace Coil 2010 #2

Our second coil collab with LaceFace. We are looking forward to working with her again in the near future... hopefully she can come up and visit the studio. She's got some great ideas and we think we have some innovative ways to incorporate her work. So please stay tuned for more LaceFace Illadelph pieces... it was great to work with her and we can't wait to do it again. Both LaceFace coils will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery in Los Angeles, CA for our July 2010 Collaboration Exhibition, already underway. Lacey will be at our Exhibition Party this Friday, the 16th... so we hope anyone who can come by to say hello, will.

SNIC 2010 Electroformed Coil Set

The latest SNIC Collaboration. This coil base and ash catcher setup are fully electroformed. SNIC has been building on his Gas Mask sculptures which now feature eyes at times. These new sculptures by SNIC are a bit more mean looking than the Gas Mask sculptures we’ve seen before. This coil is the first Illadelph Electroformed Coil Set… and SNIC and us are very happy with the completed set.

This item will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery starting July 16th until the end of the month as part of our 2010 Summer Collaboration Exhibition.

Fetus Coil w/ InLine Ash Catcher

Completed in early July of 2010… this is another of our famous Fetus Coils. This coil features a triple chamber ash catcher in which the inline chamber is sealed to the coil’s beaker base. This set also comes with a matching worked faceted jar and complete hot hit set up. This coil will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery starting July 9th 2010.

Ghost 2009 Zombie Doctor Collaboration

This is the second collaboration from Ghost. It’s a Zombie doctor who just feasted on the brains of the poor slide patient. Complete with worked marble, slide and ash catcher as well as sandblasted bloody hands to match the marble Ghost gave us this item is wonderfully evil. The red tubing and lipped joints and bead set off an already amazing collaboration with Ghost. This was completed last year and I just wanted to get this up here to show off some of the awesome work Ghost and the guys here at Illadleph did with this one.

Cowboy 2010 Coil #2

Only one more Cowboy collaboration coil to post for the exhibition starting on July 9th at the Illadelph Glass Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. Cowboy really outdid his usual masterful self and we are grateful to have him on board anytime. This (and any artist collaboration) comes with a Cowboy slide, Ash Catcher, worked section in the Base, worked section above the coil jacket and of course the coil centerpiece.

The 2010 Collaborations are starting to get wrapped up for our Exhibition in Los Angeles starting July 9th. Party details to follow and other artists will be posted to this website shortly.

This Cowboy piece centers around his remarkable coil section work and includes a Diffused Slide, Ash Catcher and fully worked Coil Top with Base.

This item will be on display at the Illadelph Glass Gallery beginning June 9th.
